A Skyros holiday is not merely another opportunity to feel sun on your skin and swim in clean salt water. The whole experience of sharing two weeks with a number of strangers, eating, learning, walking, swimming, talking, singing and dancing together is a truly heartwarming experience. I defy anyone to go on a Skyros holiday and not come away enriched and changed for the better.

Just to say thank you to you and your staff for making my stay with you so wonderful. It was so nice to have a lovely group of people to stay with too and it is a truly beautiful place. I enjoyed the courses and it was nice to take some time out of my life to get things back in perspective.

Atsitsa helped me to write two novels and I didn't even attend a writing course there! I met inspirational people and had great fun and even organised a Passion Evening (where folk spoke or shared some of their passions). I'd been scared of standing up in front of a group and introducing the guests, but when I did I found it was empowering and even thrilling. And a good reminder that one of my passions is writing. I started my first novel that autumn. The setting was so beautiful too. Thanks Skyros and Atsitsa!

Just a quick note to say what an utterly fabulous time I had at Atsitsa last week. All your staff are worth their weight in diamonds and pearls. Not only efficient and helpful, but so caring and kind. The only weeks in my life that have been better were those when my kids were born. Thank you SOOOO much.
