Writing Your Story with Julia Bell
Whether it’s a novel or a memoir or just a daily journal, this course will give you the tools to start (or kickstart) your writing practise to help you develop the story you’ve always wanted to write.
Working with inspiring prompts and exercises to open up discussion and help to clear blocks, the course is also an invitation to slow down and pay attention.
The group workshop is also a place where we can learn to ‘think our feelings and feel our thoughts’ and in this context learning to develop creative work in the company of others enables us to better see and be seen, to understand our own story and well as the stories of others.
Working from life and from the imagination, this course will improve your ways with words, sharpen your attention and your storytelling skills, and give you the confidence and enthusiasm to keep on writing once the course is over.
What's Included?
Julia’s masterclass is held at the Skyros Centre on Skyros island in Greece.
The holiday includes half board, twin shared accommodation in the village. Single upgrades are available.

About Julia Bell
Julia Bell is an academic, writer and teacher with 25 years of experience teaching people from all backgrounds & ages to write.
She is the author of three novels and the co-editor of the best-selling Creative Writing Coursebook (Macmillan) and is currently working on a collection of essays. Her new work Radical Attention was published by Peninsula Press in May 2020.
