The Singing Body is an invitation to deepen your relationship with yourself through the voice. It’s not about being a “good singer” or singing in a particular way—it’s about discovering and receiving the sound that is uniquely yours.

Through a rich range of practices, we will explore:

Breathwork and body awareness
Movement and vocal improvisation
Chant and mantra
The Indian scale
Vocal maps and different focal points in the body
Exploring and releasing the full range of your natural sound.

Come and feel more liberated, connected and aligned with yourself, and discover the voice that has always been within you.

No previous vocal or singing experience is required.

What's Included?

Gavin’s course is held in Atsitsa Bay on Skyros island in Greece and is part of the wide range of courses and activities available.

The holiday includes full board twin shared accommodation in an eco-hut. Single upgrades and twin shares in the house are available.

About Gavin Frank

Gavin Frank is a voice facilitator, musician and recording artist who has been empowering people to discover and express their true voice for more than 26 years.

His work is rooted in the belief that within each of us there is a unique, authentic sound waiting to be heard — and that sometimes all it needs is the permission and freedom to emerge.

Drawing on mantra, free voice, vocal improvisation, movement, breathwork, the Indian scale, ritual and meditation, Gavin creates spaces where people can connect more deeply with themselves through the voice.

He offers retreats, residential and non-residential weekends, evening classes, chanting groups, one-to-one voice work and online sessions, both in person and via Zoom. Based in Oxford, UK, Gavin also records and performs with the musical duo Madrum, with whom he has released three albums.
