Activities at Atsitsa Bay, Greece

Kayaking with Mary Jelliffe

Sat 23 - Sat 30 Aug 2025

Develop and refine your kayaking skills, as you explore and enjoy the stunning coastline of the island of Skyros. The focus will be on fun, exploration and adventure, as we paddle through the crystal-clear turquoise waters of the Aegean.

Novices will quickly learn how to manoeuvre their kayak safely and efficiently so they can feel confident out on the water. More experienced kayakers will have the opportunity to practise and progress their skills, as they enjoy the natural beauty of Atsitsa Bay and beyond.

At the start of the course, we’ll run through the equipment, how it all works and safety and rescue procedures so you can feel safe and secure once out on the ocean.

With Mary’s expert guidance and support, learn how to tune in to your instinctive relationship with your body, the boat and the elements and find a way of paddling that is enjoyable and sustainable for you.

As your kayaking skills progress, we’ll venture further afield so you can apply your paddling techniques in varying water and wind conditions and deepen and consolidate your learning.

Experience the magic of the natural world that kayaking enables – mindfully, with a light and playful touch.
