Activities at Atsitsa Bay, Greece
Screenwriting with Tiana Harper
Sun 11 - Sun 18 Aug 2024
What better place than a Greek island to conjure up stories that are both visually stimulating and emotionally powerful? During this course we’ll explore how to identify and develop screen narratives that will engage an audience; how to tell stories via imagery; how to create compelling characters; how to utilise structure, plot and genre, and to write distinctive dialogue. Daily, fun exercises will develop technique, and as the course progresses, we’ll workshop ideas and scenes as a group. Suitable for beginners and those with experience, by the end of the course we’ll aim to have some of the scenes created during the session ‘on their feet’ so that participants can benefit from seeing their work acted and directed by themselves and their classmates.
