Activities at Atsitsa Bay, Greece
The Alexander Technique with Richard Brennan
Sat 18 - Fri 31 May 2024
The Alexander Technique is a powerful tool for change. Many people think of it as merely a way of improving posture, but in reality it is about knowing ourselves and changing our thoughts and behaviour that hold us back in life and posture, while important, is only a small part of this.
The Technique will help you to increase self- awareness on many levels whatever you are doing and some people call it ‘mindfulness in movement’.
During this week you will learn how to detect and release tensions and restrictions within your mind and body so that you are able to achieve your full potential. It can help you improve just about any activity that you do including Yoga, Pilates, Tai Chi, other martial arts, running swimming of simply sitting standing and walking. In fact you can even use the technique to improve the way you breathe!
This course will be a lot of fun because we learn more while we are enjoying ourselves and the only requirements are an open mind and a sense of humour.
