Holiday Facilitators: Rita Roushdy

Rtia's passion for astronomy began around 10 years ago when she volunteered at an observatory just after it opened. What started as a fun hobby quickly grew into a deep fascination with the cosmos.

In December 2023, Rita was invited back as a Lead Astronomer at Battlesteads Dark Sky Observatory, where she now works alongside a tight-knit and highly experienced team within AstroVentures. This role has given her the opportunity to expand her knowledge and skills even further.

Rita is also currently pursuing a degree in Astronomy and Planetary Science, and she's eager to continue learning and share her love for the universe with you.
