This course is designed for all levels of knowledge in astronomy, whether you’re seeking an entertaining and fun introduction to the cosmos, or looking to deepen your understanding of the night sky and expand your astronomical knowledge.

What's Included?

Rita’s course is held in Atsitsa Bay on Skyros island in Greece and is part of the wide range of courses and activities available.

The holiday includes full board twin shared accommodation in an eco-hut. Single upgrades and twin shares in the house are available.

About Rita Roushdy

Rtia’s passion for astronomy began around 10 years ago when she volunteered at an observatory just after it opened. What started as a fun hobby quickly grew into a deep fascination with the cosmos.

In December 2023, Rita was invited back as a Lead Astronomer at Battlesteads Dark Sky Observatory, where she now works alongside a tight-knit and highly experienced team within AstroVentures. This role has given her the opportunity to expand her knowledge and skills even further.

Rita is also currently pursuing a degree in Astronomy and Planetary Science, and she’s eager to continue learning and share her love for the universe with you.
